tonight as we're putting the boys down, i laid by breck for a minute to say good night. he asked who my favorite person was. i said well, i have 3 favorites. your daddy, you and merrik. who's yours? to which he replied you.

a few things from last week..

we got our daddy/hubby back. yay! the season is finally over!! wanted to try it out. i wish he'd be really going on it!!

so i told breck i was writing you and asked if he wanted me to tell you anything. these are his words:

that kid is one nut. we were driving by mom's today and breck is rambling about all kinds of things in the back seat, so i'm half listening.. and he caught my attention, so i asked him to repeat it. and he says those little uncles, may-may and jacey, they give yucky boy kisses. but derek gives nice ones! thought that was cute!

we are all doing good! the weather has been gorgeous, but i hear we're expecting another storm!it's too bad, we're getting a little spring fever!

this last week was crazy busy. i had a lot to do in my church calling, and with scouting, but it is over now! so glad. tomorrow i want to just stay home and not have to go and do anything

this kid has been playing basketball lately, much to his fathers dismay!

breck is all about his muscles. he told me yesterday--mom, i like to eat good food, cause then i see my muscles grow! remember breck's little white golf shoes? well merr has found them. loves them. when i get them out he sits real quick and grunts, so i'll put them on.

but can you believe how big? yea it wasn't even 5 miles from our house. um, i just might never go out side again!! timmy's bro chad's buddy just shot one he helped track in utah and timmy says the one shot is at least 60 pounds heavier. it's a record in utah and like 5th in the nation or world!? i'll see if i can get a picture of that one!

your last letter sounded so good. i'm glad you are working hard and finding people to teach. i know this 'good news' of the gospel is something everyone needs in their life. how grateful i am to have it in mine. some thing i have been thinking about a lot lately is family. how much it is under attack right now. it's because it's so important and central in God's plan. i'm so grateful for our wonderful family, on both sides. i've been singing the chorus to a primary song over and over the last week or two. it's so simple and sweet. it's the song the family is of God. it says-God gave us family. to help us become what he wants us to be. this is how he shares his love. for the family is of God. i'm grateful for your awesome example also! we love and miss you! you are always in our prayers!

we had a fabulous time. this was the first time we have stayed over night. we had a little swap of sorts that evening. everyone brought a little gift for everyone else. it could be something they made, something that inspired them, etc. anything. there were many tears, much laughter & love as we exchanged quotes, stories and gifts. we just got to be together to talk & share. it was the highlight of the trip for me. i belong to a wonderfully strong, beautiful, amazing family.

how lucky am i?

i know, i know..

wow time is sure just passing by! i have not been in the blogging mood lately. not too sure why, but i'm coming around. i'm missing it. i miss looking for the little things. i miss keeping up and commenting on every ones. and of course miss the comments on mine. so be prepared for many a post coming soon.

the next big post? the annual trip to globe. it was the best one yet.

i'll be sure to get lots of love from my little guys as my main man is off with wrestling.* but he'll be home that night. just in time to really celebrate. {wink, wink..}
