31/31 i made it. 31 pictures for 31 days. i rather enjoyed it! this last one is one of my favorites of my little guys. they love each other so much. they are always so excited to see the other. i hope they will always be buddies!!

grandma & sisters..

29/31 yesterday breck told me something so very sad.* here's how the conversation went.

B: mom this shirt too big, huh.
M: yea, just a little.
B: mom, when my tummy get fat like yours, then it fit me huh!

so yea. thanks my handsome, smart, brutally honest 3 yr old. wow, i need to get myself in shape!!

*really, honestly i'm not depressed about it! just a little more motivated then before!!

28/31 we canned chili beans on tuesday. whew, what hard work.. i was exhausted. but worth it! so good!

27/31 merr gets so excited to see his daddy when he comes home!! when he hears the door opening he scoots as fast as he can saying d-d-d. he smiles so big when daddy picks him up, and lays his head on his shoulder and just snuggles right in. it is the sweetest thing.

to derek..

{(my bro. derek is on a mission in brazil. he got permission from his pres. to look at our blog! so this is to him)}

hey der! we miss you! just wanted to drop ya a quick note and tell ya hi. we'll send ya a letter a little later.. when breck says the prayers (which is usually every prayer) he says heavenly father, bless bear-bear. and then he says the rest of his prayer. but every time he says one, you are always blessed first. :) and if anyone else says one and you weren't mentioned, we have to say it again, just to bless you.

the other day the mason was trying to teach breck, (and bribing him) that when mason asks who's your fav. uncle, he'd say may-may. and who's your fav. aunt? and he's say jace (it was pretty funny.) well after a couple of times of doing that timmy told breck, hey what about derek? and after that anytime they'd ask who his fav. uncle was, he'd always replies bear-bear, no matter what they would bribe him with.

timmy is enjoying teaching. it's just taking a lot of work this first little while, trying to get used to everything and the kids and such. but he thinks once it settles down, he's going to really like it.

i've just been hanging with these crazy boys, trying to keep up with them! merr is a little maniac, pulling himself up to everything and eating anything he finds! (i've found him trying to eat bugs a couple times! ew!) and breck is just being breck! still obsessed with anything with balls. he got a pair of baseball pants for his birthday, and has worn them almost every day. he only takes them off when i make him. (when he goes to bed or when i need to wash them.) they are a couple sizes too big, but he just loves them. i'll get a picture of him for ya next week.

well you sound good in your letters! glad you like your area. mastering the language yet!?

you are pulling yourself up to everything now! you think you are pretty cool to be standing so tall! you love the chairs and table. you are always trying to crawl through & over them. it is your own little jungle gym. you've had a few bonked heads and are constantly getting stuck. then you cry for help because you can not get down by yourself. you are way too young for any of this craziness!

wow, so i have reached 100 posts. this is the 100th to be exact! so i'm following after this lovely gal, and giving ya 100 things you may not know about me or my family. (don't feel obligated to read this, it is VERY long)

here goes:

1. i married my high school sweetheart.

2. i am the oldest in my family.

3. timmy is the youngest.

4. he comes from a family of 5 boys.

5. love my boys, but hope i get a little girl sometime!

6. breck can count to 13.

7. merrik loves otter pops. the freezer opens and he's headed straight for you.

8. i love to take pictures.

9. but i wish i had a nice professional camera.

10. mexico is the only other country i've been to.

11. but i'd love to go to europe someday.

12. timmy likes video games.

13. i'm awful at them.

14. i hope my boys get timmy's height. (he's right under 6').

15. i don't particularly like my handwriting.

16. we built this house we live in.

17. we've lived in it for a little over a year.

18. and i still can't figure out where to hang some things.

32. he gets up on his hands and knees, takes a step, then drops down and scoots.

33. i guess he thinks it's faster that way.

38. breck loves his crazy uncle boys(my little bros).

98. we like sushi. both our mother's think we are weird.

99. i'm learning to enjoy cooking.

100. marrying timmy was one of the best things i have ever done. he gets me like no one else ever has.

i need to get my family (and myself) on a schedule! i need to plan out my days better. make sure i make the time to exercise! (i always feel so much better when i do.) i need to get to bed at a decent hour. set time aside to study the scriptures. to keep my house in a presentable state. my list could go on and on.

ever heard it's not a real goal til it's written down? this is me writing it. i will become more organized. (sigh) anyone have any bright ideas to help this girl out?

20/31 fun times at the park.. didn't start out well! got a flat on the way. had to move a stroller, blankets and all 4 car seats around and out to get to the spare and jack! but thanks to a couple very helpful deputies, we finally made it!

and of course i forgot to break out the camera until everyone else had gone! next time i'll get a picture of all the crazy kids!!

my little mr. breck..
you turned 3 this week. wow, it's hard to believe you've been a part of my life for that long. and yet, it's hard to remember what it was like without you. these are a few things i want to remember about you at this age right now.
*right now you are my baseball man. your favorite birthday gift was a pair of baseball pants. you would wear them for days without ever taking them off if we let you.
*you are constantly telling me "see mom, i so big." and trying to do everything yourself.
*you are getting more daring. you love to jump off anything/everything.
*lately you come up to me out of the blue, put your arms around me, give me a kiss and tell me you love me. i love that.
*you love to wear pants. it has been somewhat of a struggle to get you in shorts this summer!
*you HAVE to have socks on. and shoes. (definitely take after your daddy with that one.)
*you love to be outside! whether it's working with your dad, digging in the dirt, going on walks, running through mud puddles, playing in the rain, collecting and/or smashing bugs or of course playing ball.
*you love that little brother of yours. sometimes a little too much. and he loves you back. both of your faces light up when you see each other. i hope you guys will always be best buds.
*you ask questions all day long. mostly about what bugs, frogs, cows, etc eat. when we ask what do breck's eat you always reply pizza.
*you are and have always been obsessed with anything to do with balls and sports. you have been throwing a ball since you could sit up. you will play ball for as long as you can get someone to catch or pitch to you. (you can always get your papa's and uncles to play)
*you love when we sing. your favorite song is i like to look for rainbows. you can sing both verses.
*you love your "crazy uncle boys" lately you call chance, chancy-pants:)
*your very favorite color is green. yellow comes in second though.
*you have been such a fun little guy to have in our family. i truly see you as one of my best little friends.
we have our disagreements. (we are both too stubborn.) but i would never trade you for anything in the world. you are my handsomest blond hair blue eyed boy. i love you too much and the most. xxoo mom

14/31 i was sick yesterday. so to keep breck somewhat occupied, i turned him loose with my camera. he took many, many pictures. i think this one is my favorite.

13/31 while washing vegetables for dinner, i dropped a tomato. merrik made a beeline for it and began to gnaw at it. as i was trying to get a picture he kept scooting away and grunting, thinking i was trying to get it back. he ate it for a while, then destroyed it! he loved it! (and don't worry, the tomato was clean, and the floors had just been mopped!)

9/31 merr loves to eat. learning to eat by himself. sometimes i wonder if his little hands will survive! no bites yet!
