this kid makes me smile everyday. he's a crazy little one.
if my closet door is open, he makes a beeline for it. he can be found pulling every single shoe i own off their shelves, or climbing in and hiding in the laundry bag hamper/holder.

{ya, those are completely stuffed. i do laundry and it seems the next day i walk in my closet to find them full again. seriously!? does it sneak up on anyone else?!}

wow, another week already! crazy.

we aren't up to much. just normal everyday things. breck is getting too smart. he knows so many letters it's crazy. he's even asking what they say and what starts with F? he's such a fun kid.

he is so excited for this weekend b/c he gets to see the denhams. and peyton. we haven't seen them in forever, and he just loves them.

the weather is saying there is a possibility for snow this weekend, possibly even tomorrow. we may have a white thanksgiving!

this weekend is the first tournament for wrestling. i think it's only j.v., but it's starting! breck's excited. he wants to go wrestle and see all the boys. he'd probably wear his little singlet if we let him! (he can wear it to practice, i'm just not too sure about to a match!)

merr is into a fit throwing stage. if he doesn't get what he wants, he flops himself back and arches all crazy. such a little stinker. crazy little man for sure! he has a funny little personality!

k well this one is a short one, i'm am so tired tonight!

PS.. just as i'm writing this i hear a THUD from the other room. i pause for the cry or something to tell me where it came from. it was breck. he fell off his bed! so sad. he's fine, after being tucked back in and getting a few kisses from his mommy. (i love that kisses can fix just about anything.) i think the biggest thing is he's just a little annoyed that his sleep was interrupted:) anyone else's kids get mad when they are disturbed while sleeping? merr is the worst..

today we had our primary program. the kids were wonderful. they knew their parts and they sang so loud and beautifully! i was very impressed. the spirit was there when they sang.
it bore witness to me, yet again, that we are all beloved children of God.

{and i had to face a fear of mine. leading a song in sacrament meeting! yikes!! it went better then i thought. that is one calling i hope i never get!}

i have put off saying anything about a situation we have been dealing with in part because i'm so tired of it and the people involved. and i'm know some of you know them, and i don't want to be make anyone think any more bad things about them.
but today i received an answer to many, many prayers i have said over it.
i have been very upset and annoyed about the whole thing. i have not been able to understand how people can treat others this way. especially family. and take such advantage.
and because of different experiences with it, we have had to deal with others that have been less then honest. i just hope they will actually follow through. we shall see.
so anyway i have been more wary of people and not wanting to trust anyone anymore. and that is horrible, i know.
my answer came as i was cleaning my kitchen. both boys were napping (love when that happens) so my house was very quiet. so i turned on the sunday afternoon session of this last general conference we have on DVR. it was russell m. nelson's talk. he said (talking of shoplifters) those rare individuals that cast aside their personal integrity. now i haven't had to deal with shoplifters, but it hit me that everyone has agency. they are free to choose what they do. and i can not control that. i cannot control how they treat me. but i have control of how i react. it has helped so much. it has not taken away all these not so nice feelings i have toward them, but i feel one step closer. and as long as i am moving forward with it, that is good.

hey bud! how are ya? we are good! every one is healthy, so that's good! merr is a bit crankier than usual, but he is getting another tooth, so that's understandable.
so about your shout out.. i didn't do it last week b/c you reported on the 14th, so if you scroll down to the 14th, you will find a post especially for you!
the weather has been pretty nice still. we have been able to go on walks, go to the park and play on the grass still. which seems crazy because it's mid november!

it was crazy to look back at those pictures! everyone has changed! even you look different! more grown up :)

so do you want or need anything? christmas is coming up, and i need to know! i'd rather send you something you'll use you know!

timmy enjoys working at the school. he'd rather be teaching P.E., but he's doing good for now. this year they have a lot of boys out for wrestling. more then they have ever had before. around 40 i think. and that's even after they've had 8-10 quit! so they'll have a j.v. and varsity squads. so he's excited. they have a young team, but a full one, so they are excited.

i got a new calling, i'm 2nd counselor in the primary. so i'm over all the cub scouting! haha, fun huh! at least this ward has a program! and the people actually do their callings. so it'll be good.

our primary program is this sunday. i'm leading the music to it still b/c all the kids are used to me b/c i've worked with them all year. i'll be glad when it's over though!

today i have 2 blessings:

1. timmy has work. he was blessed with the opportunity to work at the high school. they approached him, asked him to apply. just another way that i know we are being watched over.

2. exercise. i actually did some today. it has been, well a while! it felt really good. my body/muscles are tired, but in the good way.





breck got to go to his papa brewers house and help him make some bread.

breck said i had really fun.
it was sure tasty!!



now it's off to bed! i'm hoping i'm not too sore tomorrow!

sunday afternoons.. hanging out together. trying to get a good picture.. haha, this was our best shot. too bad it's blurry..

the ward chorister asked my mom to have her family sing in sacrament meeting. so she enlisted our help, along with the davis', jones' and jacksons. it was quite the group. the song was "The Family is of God". i think it's one of my new favorites, i've been humming it all day.

merrik got his first hair cut!!

jace and mason made this sweet trailer to pull the kids.. it did break after a few rides, but i hear it now has some awesome new wheels and is better then ever. i'll have to get an updated picture:)

(and yes, that is my breck with his helmet on. no i did not make him wear it for his ride. that kid wears it anywhere we let him..)

some how i switched these last 2 days up. this should have been #14, and merr's page should have been #13. o well!

we took the kids to the park and fed the ducks. they loved it. except for how cold it was. and when the ducks and geese swarmed us. but really, they had a good time!

this lala, she is most definitely my favorite little gal. i just love her. if i am not blessed with a daughter (but let's hope and pray i will be. in a few years though.. not rushing) court, you may just have to share her with me!

a good group of kids. today they learned about the letter D. ate doughnuts, danced, made a dog puppet and played with play dough. fun little preschool.

dearest elder brewer,

i cannot believe you have been gone for a year. it has gone by so fast, at least for me. {i have been busy, 2 kids and all}

has it gone by quick for you? i know you have been so busy too! i heard you got transferred. are you liking the new area and companion? how's the language? when you come home will you teach my boys some portuguese (sp) is that what you speak?! but only the nice words k! :)

the first thing breck says in prayers is still bless bear-bear. although lately he has been calling you derek. he's been calling people my their real names lately, not the nicknames he's always used. like he calls lala "tortlinn" most of the time.

he is all into football right now. all yellow things are now "gold" things. {ya know, for green and gold} if he uses a cup, or gets a balloon or candy or such, it's always one of those colors. yea he's pretty much still obsessed. crazy little dude.

wrestling has started! did dad or mom tell you chance is wrestling this year?! he says he's already lost 15 pounds, and they've only been going a week. haha, i think he's doing good.

can you believe we got snow! it's long gone now, but how random huh. i didn't really expect it. breck was so excited! he was running around yelling with the hugest grin on his face. he just wanted to go out and eat some.

merrik is getting more teeth! he has 4 on top, and 3 on the bottom with at least one more coming. he has the cutest little grin. he looks just like a little creature. his hair is about out of control. he's got a pretty good little mullet happening. not as good as breck's was {i don't think any one's will top that} but i'm really thinking about trimming it up! we'll see!

on days that merrik is napping early, breck and i try to do something just the two of us. today he picked coloring. {his new thing is to color the whole picture in one color. and that color is usually green}

i've been thinking about all the recent happenings. i have been trying to think of a way to somehow explain these thoughts whirling around.

hey there!

breck was a gnome for halloween. he kept changing his mind of what he wanted to be. then finally picked. if you scroll down there is a couple pictures of him all decked out. and he turned out to be quite a cute one i thought!

jace was a football player. so ever since then that is what breck wants to be next year. he says he'll be a football man and wear his cougar football helmet and his cleats and he just has it all planned! he is so funny. if we are leaving the house i'm always saying come on lets go and waiting for him, and he's yelling from the other room, jus' a minute! i toming! and runs out with his helmet on!

merr is quite the kid. he is a cool little guy. he's getting all feisty and crazy. he pushes things all around walking behind them (like his walker toy, little step stools, even chairs)
he LOVES to eat. he eats anything you put in front of him, well mostly. and his hair is getting so long. when he wears beanies it flips out the bottom. it's so cute. and when he wakes up. it is a poof ball around his head. it is the funniest/cutest thing. really that's the reason i haven't trimmed it yet or anything!

k well it is so late here, i need to be heading to bed! thanks for sending pictures! we love it, keep them coming! i love you der! thanks for your great example to us!

after our little lesson tonight we had a few wrestling matches.(our nights seem to end that way more often than not) breck on top and pinning merrik. then breck on timmy, pinning him. then breck and me. we were starting and timmy tells breck-throw a half! and breck then proceeds to do just that. {it's a half nelson-a wrestling move} his little arm comes up and behind my neck(his arms are too short to reach the top of my head, the real way to do the move) then he drives. he pushes me, gets me to my back. then pins me too.

today my baby had an allergic reaction to a cashew(and maybe benedryl). i'm not going into details. but it was one of the worst experiences i have ever had. things are okay now. we are home and keeping an eye on him, but i know tonight will be a long night. i doubt i will sleep much, i will be watching him. he has been crawling all over, standing, playing, eating and being his normal crazy little self, but i still worry.

i am so very, very grateful for the power of the priesthood! and a good man who is worthy to hold it. and a handsome baby boy who gives the sweetest kisses and has started to say MY name.. mam mam mam.
