some days..

merrik's new sad/grouchy/whining face pretty much looks like i felt today! it was kinda a rough one. breck not listening, and constantly in his brothers face, or on top of him! merrik whiny and teething (we think), wanting to be held. (can't blame him with how breck was today). the wind HOWLING outside (at times i could feel my house vibrate with the strong gusts). fighting allergies, and on and on, but i'll spare you. just so frustrating sometimes.

now everyone is sleeping.. i finally had my much needed shower and a few peaceful moments to myself. i hope that tomorrow the wind is gone, or has at least died down enough for us to venture out!! here's to tomorrow, and hoping it will be a little happier and more productive!

1- i am the primary chorister. not too sure why they put me here, because if you've heard me you know i don't have the best voice. but i love primary and i really do love the calling. (it took a little while)
2- i LOVE vintage things.. they have so much character
3- i love necklaces.. really, i have way more than i should..
4- i don't mind getting up or talking in front of people if i've had a warning, but i hate doing it when i am put on the spot. my mind goes blank.
5- i am really into american idol right now! i love brooke and david cook. and i'm so glad they are both still there. but i do think david will end up winning!!

what to do..

have you ever just felt overwhelmed before? today is definitely my day. (k really it's been my month..) my house is filled with too much junk! everywhere i look is cluttered and i just can't take it anymore!! i want and need to simplify! does anyone have any bright ideas on de-cluttering and organizing, please help!!

my littlest dude is so fun.. some things we love about him..

* his happy big smile
*he's a mama's boy.. loves to cuddle.. and of course i love that!

this kid is rolling all over the place! he cannot wait to be up and able to run around. he watches kids and rocks forward trying to get to them! i think he just might be an early crawler and walker!
p.s. i cut my bangs (actually caitlin did) but i like them! definitely takes a little getting used to!:) i'll post a picture later..

SL cougars..

remember a couple of posts ago, my boy that loves sports? well he kept asking to sing a football song, and the only one i could think of was the SL fight song! so we sung it a few times, and he caught right on! i'll be in the other room and hear him singing! i finally got him to sing it for the camera. and sorry, i couldn't get it to rotate..

being a mom..

it never ceases to amaze me that at every conference there are talks given just for me! so many that stood out to me were about mothers, family and the home. i loved m. russell ballard's talk on sunday afternoon. it helped to put things in perspective, and reminded me to just relax, and enjoy being a mother.

this last week has so frustrating with my 2 1/2 year old! at times he is so good and others he's so defiant and naughty! sometimes i just don't know what to do with him..

some times i get so caught up in doing the everyday things i forget the beauty of being a mother. and i forget just how wonderful i really have it. i want to be a good mom. i want my kids to have a great childhood. i want them to know that their mommy's heart hurts with love for them. they, along with timmy, are my world. i feel more complete since they have come into my life. so starting tomorrow we will play more. we will laugh more. i will have more patience. i know i will never be a perfect mother. i just want to be a good one. so one day at a time.. and i will keep trying..

i'll enjoy it while i can..

last week timmy took a few wrestlers to virginia for the national finals. i thought i'd have the bed to myself. ha ha.. i woke up, wiggled out, and grabbed the camera. yea i was between them!

officially obsessed..

OBSESS: to fill the thoughts of; haunt in the mind.

this is breck. he is OBSESSED with anything having to do with sports. right now he is a 'big foo-ball man'. anytime he sees something green, it is a cougar object. for example, see a green light on a stoplight and it is a cougar light, etc. it is his new favorite color. every pair of shoes he owns belongs to a specific sport. he has 'foo-ball ceats', 'baseball ceats', wrestling shoes, and basketball ones. and you better believe he knows distinctly which are which. and heaven forbid mom makes him wear his 'foo-ball ceats' with his basketball shorts.. mean foo-ball face..

this kid isn't even 3 yet! mom doesn't know what to do with him, while dad of course is loving it..
